This is a great book with simple instructions for updating any clothes to hip. I would have paid $150.00 easily for jeans like these. Instead, Jenny, my daughter, incorporated pieces of doilies my mother crocheted years ago and I have an item of clothing that is not only hip; but a part of my heritage.The book "Visible Mending" gives lots of ideas of how to update clothing that may have a hole or rip and end up with something that is timely and fashionable! If you sew at all, buy the book and see how you can recycle clothing and end up looking really in tune with fashion for a lot less tha buying mass produced clothing.
